Educational Facilities
Educational facilities within the Village range from Head Start and preschool programs to the Newark Public School system (which has classes from kindergarten through grade 12) to Finger Lakes Community College.
Head Start is a government sponsored preschool program aimed at helping qualified children to prepare for general education. Other private preschool organizations also exist within the Village whose aim is to provide day care while preparing children for elementary school.
Newark is proud of its public school system which is highly rated within the State. It offers an excellent education, as well as, many complimentary areas of focus such as art, music, and sports.
