The Economic Development Office will be responsible for the recruitment of business opportunities to the Village of Newark, while assisting in the expansion and/or retention of existing Village businesses.

The Economic Development office will provide assistance and information pertaining to the Village’s land for jobs policy, tax incentives and other financial opportunities while coordinating efforts with such agencies as the Wayne County Industrial Agency and Empire State Development Agency.
