The Village Office is normally the first point of contact for residents and businesses as their main function is to handle overall administration of Village policies and financial control.

The administrative portion of the office collects property taxes, issues dog licenses, collects water and sewer bills, and administers Village finances against the annual budget. Existing businesses or those interested in relocating to the Village can contact the Economic Development Facilitator for assistance on tax incentives, grants, etc. The Code Enforcement Office is also located within the Village Office which not only enforces the NYS Fire Prevention and Building Code, but the Village of Newark Code as well.
